Position Overview:
We are looking for a Transport Planner who will be responsible for developing and implementing transport strategies that optimize logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in transport management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze transportation needs and develop efficient transport plans.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Evaluate and select transport providers based on performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor transport performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations affecting transport operations.
- Prepare reports and forecasts related to transport and logistics performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in transport planning or logistics management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in transport management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
