JOB PURPOSE
To manage the day-to-day operations of ICT systems, ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure. Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, installing and configuring software, hardware and networks.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To organize and implement servicing and support of all ICT systems.
- To recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems and evaluating trends,
- Developing application and database architecture and design, writing code, validating data acquisition and output media/formats,
- Maintaining, Investigating and troubleshooting Database Systems used by the main loan management application, Microsoft SQL and MYSQL.
- To maintain the IT Assets for the company and maintain the ICT databases; update the database whenever there is a change.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements. This task includes ensuring that all computer software and antivirus applications are up to date.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Writing queries in Transact-SQL to retrieve and generate reports using Crystal Reports and Pentaho
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
- Maintain and track all company Social Media platforms.
- Any other duties assigned by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent from a reputable institution.
- Proficiency in using modern database management systems such as MS SQL and Mysql.
- Previous experience working as a Systems and IT Administrator
- Comprehensive understanding of the Fintech Industry
- Proficiency with programming tools and languages
