Position: Sustainable Tobacco Programme (STP) Coordinator

Reporting To: (Corp Science & Value Chain) CSVC Commercial and Small Scale Farmer Manager.

Role Overview: To manage and develop the Sustainable Tobacco Programme (STP) in the CSVC Commercial and Small Scale department. To integrate STP and meet internal and external deadlines and targets. To manage and coordinate Green House Gas data collection and entry for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and reviews AOI Sustainability programs and strategies.
  • Coordinate the Audit with local management, customers and external parties.
  • Monitor and track GMS Data from the field.
  • Manage communication and submission of CSVC Commercial and Small Scale reports and data prior to set deadlines.
  • Review and promotes best practices in leaf production, environment and labour practices.
  • Develop, Implement and Review Staff training in STP and sustainability issues.

Requisite Qualifications and Experience

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Public Heath / Environment Science/Management or similar/related field
  • Sustainable Agriculture experience
  • GMS(Grower Management System ) and remote sensing experience desirable
  • Project management, environment, natural resources, business analysis and statistical management experience.
  • Tobacco knowledge added advantage
