JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications:
- Nursing diploma with a background in midwifery for antenatal and postnatal services.
- Valid practicing license from NMCZ.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) will be an advantage.
Minimum of 12 months working experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including antenatal and postnatal services to expecting and breastfeeding mothers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
- Conduct physical examinations and assist with diagnostic tests.
- Educate and support expecting and breastfeeding mothers on healthcare management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment.
- Participate in continuous education to stay updated on nursing and midwifery practices.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Assist in coordinating patient appointments and follow-ups.
