Safety Engineer

Job Description:

OneZambia is seeking a proactive Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and manage safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. The Safety Engineer will work to minimize risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments
• Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions
• Provide safety training and support to staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field
• Proven experience as a Safety Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficiency in safety management software and MS Office
