Job Description: Emerald Edge is seeking a detail-oriented Public Health Inspector to monitor and enforce public health standards. The Public Health Inspector will be responsible for inspecting facilities, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and addressing public health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of public and private facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Investigate health complaints and outbreaks, and implement corrective actions.
• Educate the public and facility operators on health and safety practices.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to inspections and enforcement actions.
• Collaborate with other public health professionals and agencies.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of public health regulations and standards.
• Excellent observational and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in health inspection tools and software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public health inspection or a related field.
