Job Description:
Lumina Ventures is looking for a compassionate Psychiatrist to join our mental health team in Lusaka. The Psychiatrist will diagnose and treat mental health disorders, providing psychiatric care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including therapy and medication.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in distress.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals for comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Valid medical license as a Psychiatrist in Zambia.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments.
Education:
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Residency training in Psychiatry.
Skills:
- Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills.
- Empathetic patient care.
- Effective communication and counseling abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Psychiatrist.
