Position Overview:
Lumina Ventures seeks a skilled Plant Manager to lead our Lusaka manufacturing plant. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient production, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring production targets are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Lead and develop a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor production processes and implement quality control measures.
- Prepare and manage budgets, and monitor financial performance.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in plant management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of production management software and tools.
- Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
