Job Description

Victoria Ventures is looking for a knowledgeable and innovative Petroleum Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing methods for extracting oil and gas from deposits below the earth’s surface.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement extraction processes for oil and gas.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for extraction projects.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of oil and gas wells.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with geologists and other engineers to develop extraction plans.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification or membership with a recognized engineering body is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the petroleum industry.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.

Skills

• Proficiency in petroleum engineering software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering.
