Job Description:
Nexus Zambia is looking for an innovative and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Lusaka. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components.
- Conduct research and analyze data to develop new products and improve existing ones.
- Oversee the manufacturing process for mechanical devices.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting on mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., EIZ) preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
