Marine Biologist
Job Description: Emerald Edge is seeking a Marine Biologist to study marine organisms and ecosystems. The Marine Biologist will conduct research, analyze marine life data, and contribute to the conservation and management of marine environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fieldwork and laboratory research on marine species and ecosystems.
- Analyze data on marine life and environmental conditions.
- Develop and implement conservation and management strategies for marine habitats.
- Prepare research reports, publications, and presentations.
- Collaborate with other researchers and environmental organizations on marine projects.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of marine biology and ecological principles.
- Proficiency in marine research techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work in diverse marine environments and handle fieldwork.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, Oceanography, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in marine research software and data analysis tools.
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine biology or a related field.
