Position Overview:
Lumina Ventures is hiring a Lean Manufacturing Specialist to drive continuous improvement initiatives in our Lusaka facility. The Lean Manufacturing Specialist will implement lean methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Train employees on lean techniques and tools.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of lean initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve lean objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in lean manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of lean principles and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and train teams on lean practices.
