Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage IT projects in Lusaka. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage IT projects from start to finish.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards and practices.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and report on outcomes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Experience:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in IT project management.
