Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee our information technology operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our IT systems in Lusaka. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the IT team, implementing IT policies, and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
• Manage IT staff and coordinate their activities.
• Ensure data security and compliance with IT standards and regulations.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Manage IT budgets and expenditures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues.
• Plan and coordinate IT projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in IT management software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Experience:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in IT management.
