Job Description:
North Star is looking for a skilled and analytical Investment Analyst to manage our investment portfolio in Lusaka. The Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, researching investment opportunities, and providing recommendations to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and valuation of investment opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and economic data.
- Prepare investment reports and presentations for management.
- Develop and maintain financial models and projections.
- Provide investment recommendations based on analysis.
- Ensure compliance with investment policies and regulations.
- Monitor and manage the performance of the investment portfolio.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Investment Analyst or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of investment analysis and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in investment analysis software and MS Office.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in investment analysis.
