Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking a proficient and experienced Instrumentation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain instrumentation systems in Lusaka. The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of instrumentation used in various processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop instrumentation systems and controls.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure system integration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide training and support to staff on instrumentation systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Instrumentation Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems and control engineering.
• Proficiency in instrumentation software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering.
