Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to design, install, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in Lusaka. The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective climate control solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Conduct site assessments and load calculations.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC design and installation principles.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., HVAC Certification) preferred.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC engineering.
