Our client in Zambia is looking for a HR Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Security industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire staffing process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Ensure job descriptions are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with all local regulations.
  • Convert Group Policies into localised policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve employee concerns and conflicts effectively.
  • Ensure consistent application of all HR policies and maintain company organization charts and employee directories.
  • Partner with management to align HR goals with business strategies.
  • Maintain HR information systems and processes.
  • Conduct performance reviews and salary adjustments.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of HR strategies and practices (compensation, performance management, safety, hiring, employee relations).
  • Ability to apply HR practices in compliance with Zambian employment regulations.
  • Proven track record of building a diverse, inclusive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Experience with data analysis to inform strategic HR planning.

Additional Information:

  • Zambian citizenship or valid work permit is mandatory. This is not negotiable.
  • Position is based in Lusaka, Zambia.
