We are seeking a dynamic and experienced GENERAL MANAGER to oversee operations and drive the strategic direction of a football team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports management, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of building successful teams and delivering results. This role requires effective communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Provide overall leadership and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in team execution and resource allocation.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainability of team operations.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing coaching staff and players, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Player Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with players, staff, and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with league regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning processes, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sports management or related fields, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage conflicts, and make strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
