Job Overview:
As a Financial Examiner, you will conduct thorough audits and examinations of financial records to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Your role will be essential in identifying discrepancies and recommending improvements in financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and records for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct audits of financial institutions, including banks and investment firms.
• Identify potential areas of risk and non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings and present them to management and regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to enhance internal controls and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in financial auditing or examination.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards in Zambia.
