Job Description: Emerald Edge is seeking an Environmental Health Officer to ensure the community’s environmental health and safety. This role involves monitoring environmental conditions, enforcing health regulations, and implementing strategies to address environmental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and assessments of environmental conditions to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Investigate environmental health complaints and incidents.
• Develop and implement public health programs related to environmental safety.
• Educate the public on environmental health practices and regulations.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for improving environmental health.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of environmental health laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in environmental health assessment tools and software.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Good interpersonal and presentation abilities.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental health or a related field.
