Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking a creative and innovative Design Engineer to develop and improve products and systems in Lusaka. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and specifications for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design new products and systems.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Conduct research and analysis to improve existing designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Prepare and present design proposals and reports.
• Perform testing and validation of designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of design principles and engineering practices.
• Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in design engineering.
