Database Administrator

Job Description:

OneZambia is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to manage and maintain our database systems. The Database Administrator will ensure database performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems
• Monitor database performance and implement improvements
• Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• Collaborate with development teams to support database needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in database tools and MS Office
