Job Description: Emerald Edge is hiring a reliable and efficient Cashier to handle transactions and provide excellent customer service at our retail location. The Cashier will be responsible for processing payments, managing cash, and assisting customers with their purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and credit card payments, and provide change as needed.
• Assist customers with their purchases and answer their questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.

Requirements:

• Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred.
