Job Description:
Lusaka Nexus Solutions is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Monitor company budgets and report on financial discrepancies.
  • Liaise with accountants and auditors to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for receipts, invoices, and other financial documents.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
