- Compute relevant tax in strict compliance with applicable tax laws on regulations.
- filling of tax and fiscal requirements within defined statutory deadlines.
- Assist DCP’s Tax remittances and provisioning to ensure appropriateness.
- Implement the retention and preparation of tax records, tax returns, and tax documentation.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of relevant supports and proof of tax remittance.
- Respond to ad-hoc inquires on tax related issues.
- Participate in relevant negotiations with tax authorities.
- Continually Identify Assess and Advise DCP’S Management of Tax Saving Opportunities.
- Assist in the provision of tax efficient solutions to DCPs Projects and stakeholder activities.
- stay up to date on tax related trends (e.g. changes in relevant tax laws), analyze their impact and provide recommendations to management on necessary steps. This includes NAPSA.
- Sustain and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including local and international tax authorities, tax consultants etc.

- Ensure DCP’s activities comply with local Tax and financial regulatory requirements.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics
• Full Grade Twelve school certificate
• Relevant professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA among others
• Relevant, Recognized and Accredited Professional Accounting Qualification(s) is compulsory
• Minimum of three (3) years progressive and relevant work experience with atleast 2years in tax Accounting role
. Hands on experience in ERP system, preferably SAP.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
