Job Description:
Zambezi Ventures is seeking a meticulous and organized Transport Planner to join our team in Livingstone. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of goods and passengers, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transport plans to meet company needs.
- Coordinate and schedule transportation of goods and passengers.
- Monitor and manage transportation costs and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on transport activities.
- Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze transport performance and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Transport Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transport planning or logistics.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in transport planning software and systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
