Basic Function of Position:

    •  The incumbent provides support to the Information Resource Management section and its customers at post.  Assisting with project management, providing oversight and work guidance in addition to ensuring proper customer service standards are taking place are among the top responsibilities of this position. Directly supervised by the IMO.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • The incumbent provides support to the Information Resource Management section and its customers at post. Assisting with project management, providing oversight and work guidance to twelve Locally Employed Staff (LE Staff) in addition to ensuring proper customer service standards are taking place. As an example, some of the oversight and work guidance activities include but are not limited to; observing the opening and closing of mail, ensuring proper mail screening activities are taking place. Work guidance for this example would include identifying suspect mail for further scrutiny, removing damaged and leaking parcels to prevent contaminants from entering the main building, and ensuring the guidance is followed by LE Staff even when the IMO and IMS are otherwise occupied and unable to observe.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:  Three years of administrative or clerical experience performing organizational tasks within an office environment.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be familiar with the Windows 10 operating system and the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Additionally, the incumbent must become familiar with the offices that subscribe to computer services.

Education Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School or Local Mandatory Schooling and received high school diploma
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:  English level IV (fluent) reading/writing/speaking is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to quickly learn routine customer service requests and be able to assist in resolving issues. Working with others, the incumdent must be able to help move some heavy equipment such as (Computers, Printers, and other networking equipment). Must be able to obtain TS clearance and Crypto for Use certification. Basic typing skills is required
