Job Description:
Lumina Ventures is seeking a dedicated Health Educator to join our team in Lusaka. The Health Educator will develop and implement health education programs to promote wellness and prevent disease within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate health education programs and workshops.
- Conduct community assessments to identify health needs and priorities.
- Develop educational materials such as pamphlets, videos, and presentations.
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers.
- Provide individual and group education sessions on various health topics.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of health promotion and education principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or related field.
Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate complex health information.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation software.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in health education or related field.
