Job Description:
Lumina Ventures is hiring a skilled Cardiologist to join our healthcare team in Lusaka. The Cardiologist will diagnose and treat heart-related conditions, providing specialized care to patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac evaluations and diagnostic tests.
- Interpret test results and diagnose heart conditions.
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications or interventions.
- Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty and catheterization.
- Educate patients on heart health and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Valid medical license as a Cardiologist in Zambia.
- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular medicine and procedures.
Education:
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Residency training in Cardiology.
Skills:
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac tests and imaging.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with patients and colleagues.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Cardiologist.
