Job Description:
Lumina Ventures is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatrician to join our healthcare team in Lusaka. The Pediatrician will provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive medical examinations on pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues.
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings.
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements:
- Valid medical license as a Pediatrician in Zambia.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine and child development.
Education:
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Residency training in Pediatrics.
Skills:
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Compassionate patient care.
- Effective communication with children and their families.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing Pediatrician.
