Job Description:
Apex is looking for a creative and strategic Urban Planner to develop and implement urban development plans. The Urban Planner will be responsible for designing plans for land use, zoning, and infrastructure development to promote sustainable urban growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement urban planning strategies and plans.
- Conduct research and analysis on land use, zoning, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with government agencies, developers, and community groups.
- Prepare reports, maps, and presentations on planning proposals.
- Ensure compliance with planning regulations and standards.
- Conduct public consultations and gather input from stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of urban planning initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Urban Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Skills:
- Proficiency in urban planning software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in urban planning.
