Job Description:
Apex is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Agronomist to provide expertise in crop production and soil management. The Agronomist will work to improve crop yields and sustainable farming practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and experiments on crop production and soil management.
- Provide advice and recommendations to farmers on crop selection, planting, and pest control.
- Develop and implement crop management plans.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on research findings.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Provide training and support to farmers and farm staff.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Agronomist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of agronomy principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in agronomy software and tools.
- Strong communication and project management abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in agronomy.
