Job Description:

Pivotal Solutions is looking for a skilled and experienced Transport Manager to oversee our transportation operations in Lusaka. The Transport Manager will be responsible for managing the transportation team, fleet, and ensuring efficient and safe transport of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transportation operations.
• Manage and train transportation staff.
• Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures.
• Monitor fleet performance and ensure vehicle maintenance.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Handle transportation-related inquiries and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of transportation management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in transportation management software and systems.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in transportation management.
