Job Description:

Pivotal Solutions is looking for a creative and skilled Chef to lead our kitchen team in Lusaka. The Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, developing new recipes, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes.
• Develop and test new recipes and menu items.
• Ensure kitchen operations comply with health and safety standards.
• Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks effectively.
• Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Control and minimize waste and food costs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and culinary trends.
• Proficiency in kitchen management software and tools.

Education:

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.

Skills:

• Excellent cooking and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Chef.
