Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications in Lusaka. The Software Developer will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct testing and debugging of software applications.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Maintain and update existing software applications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure software security and compliance with standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
• Proficiency in software development tools and frameworks.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in software development.
