Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure in Lusaka. The Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain network performance.
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages.
• Ensure network security and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network performance.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation and reports.
• Provide technical support and training to staff.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
• Proficiency in network management software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) preferred.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork and project management skills.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in network engineering.
