Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Engineer to oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes in Lusaka. The Production Engineer will be responsible for ensuring efficient production operations and improving overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules.
• Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of products.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in production management software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork and project management skills.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in production engineering.
