Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and optimization of our machinery and equipment in Lusaka. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment management.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and MS Office.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork and project management skills.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
