Marketing and Advertisement Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Propose retail spaces / malls for site lease
  • Promote the brand on social media and run social media campaigns
  • Help create content for various marketing channels, including social media, emails, and websites.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and advertisements.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Support the marketing team with administrative tasks and project management.
  • Assist in coordinating events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or advertising, internships included.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events calendar
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and proven experience running campaigns on social media.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be a valid member of Zambia Institute of Marketing
