Job Overview:
As a Wildlife Officer, you will be responsible for implementing wildlife management and conservation programs. Your expertise will be critical in monitoring wildlife populations, enforcing regulations, and educating the public about conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wildlife surveys and population assessments to monitor species health.
• Develop and implement management plans for wildlife conservation.
• Enforce wildlife protection laws and regulations to combat poaching and illegal trade.
• Collaborate with local communities, stakeholders, and governmental agencies on conservation initiatives.
• Educate the public and raise awareness about local wildlife and conservation issues.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on wildlife management activities and findings.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in wildlife conservation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management, Ecology, Conservation Biology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in wildlife conservation or management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of local ecosystems and wildlife laws.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in outdoor environments.
