Job Overview:
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. Your expertise will play a critical role in patient health and wellness, as you provide valuable advice and guidance on medication therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications and provide accurate information to patients about their use.
• Review and interpret physician orders and assess the appropriateness of medication therapies.
• Monitor patient profiles for potential drug interactions and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on medication adherence, side effects, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Valid practicing license as a pharmacist in Zambia.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is a plus.
