Senior Architect

Job Summary:
Mulungushi Innovations is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Architect to lead our architectural projects. In this role, you will be responsible for designing innovative and sustainable structures that meet client needs and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in architecture and design will be essential for delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications and adhere to regulatory standards. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
• Design Development: Create detailed architectural designs, including sketches, plans, and 3D models. Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to develop accurate representations of projects.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards. Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation for approval.
• Quality Control: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Incorporate sustainable design practices and materials into architectural projects. Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in green building practices.
• Client Communication: Present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders. Gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs based on client input.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
• Strong creative and technical skills, with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
