Broadcast Engineer

Job Description:
Lusaka Nexus Solutions is seeking a qualified Broadcast Engineer to maintain and ensure the smooth operation of broadcasting equipment and systems. The Broadcast Engineer will work with the technical team to troubleshoot issues and maintain broadcasting quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, and maintain broadcast equipment and systems, including audio, video, and transmission equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure uninterrupted broadcast services.
• Monitor the quality of broadcasts and make adjustments to optimize audio and video signals.
• Maintain and repair electronic broadcasting equipment.
• Collaborate with producers, technicians, and other team members to ensure efficient workflows.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules and equipment repairs.
• Stay up to date with advancements in broadcasting technology and implement upgrades when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in broadcast engineering.
• Strong knowledge of audio, video, and transmission systems.
• Proficiency in operating broadcast equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
