 Marine Biologist

Job Description: Emerald Edge is seeking a Marine Biologist to study marine organisms and ecosystems. The Marine Biologist will conduct research, analyze marine life data, and contribute to the conservation and management of marine environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fieldwork and laboratory research on marine species and ecosystems.
  • Analyze data on marine life and environmental conditions.
  • Develop and implement conservation and management strategies for marine habitats.
  • Prepare research reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and environmental organizations on marine projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of marine biology and ecological principles.
  • Proficiency in marine research techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to work in diverse marine environments and handle fieldwork.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, Oceanography, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in marine research software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine biology or a related field.
