Job Description: Emerald Edge is seeking a dedicated and skilled Firefighter to join our team. The Firefighter will be responsible for responding to fire emergencies, conducting fire prevention activities, and ensuring the safety of the community through effective firefighting techniques and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency calls.
• Extinguish fires and rescue individuals from hazardous situations.
• Conduct fire safety inspections and enforce fire codes and regulations.
• Maintain and operate firefighting equipment and vehicles.
• Participate in fire drills and training exercises to enhance firefighting skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in firefighting is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using firefighting tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• Previous experience in firefighting or emergency services is an advantage.
